Margaret A. Southard White, 78, of North Haven passed away peacefully on January 1, 2017 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard R. White. Margaret was born in Buffalo, NY on July, 22, 1938; daughter of the late Harold D. Southard and Margaret A. Stephany; worked for H.B. IVES for many years; was an active parishioner at St. Barnabas Church; was a Cub Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout leader for her children when they were growing up. Mother of Debbie Huston (Brent), Daniel O’Hara (Mary), Donna O’Hara-Orr (Robert), Dennis O’Hara, Dyana Herrera (Jenry), Danielle Favaro (Larry Palermo) and the late Denise O’Hara. Sister of Francis and Robert Southard. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a grandson, Billy Martindale.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Saturday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum. The visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm

I am so sadden for the loss of Marge White a woman who was a mother to me, I will always remember the laughter and love she shared with so many by opening her heart and home.
