Margaret DeSarbo Francesconi, 98, of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital/St. Raphael campus. Born in New Haven on January 6, 1919 to the late Anthony and Maria Grazia Burro DeSarbo. She is survived by her daughter Peggy A. Johnson (George), a grandson Richard E. Johnson, Jr., nieces and nephews. Her daughter Peggy would like to extend a “Special Thank You” to the wonderful staff at St. Raphael, Verdi 4 West.
A private Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Stephen Church and private burial followed in All Saints Cemetery under the direction of the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
