Margaret Bell Eimutis, 83, of Masonicare, Wallingford, formerly of Northford passed away peacefully on September 29, 2017 with her family by her side. Margaret was born in New Haven on July 9, 1934 and was the daughter of the late John J. and Elizabeth Livesey Bell. She had worked as a Case Manager for CT Community Care Inc. of New Haven. Margaret was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Northford Fire Department Company No. 3. She was a very creative minded person, especially when it came to writing and poetry. Margaret also loved cooking, music, reading, bowling, cribbage, pinochle and weekly bridge games with her ladies group. She enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved unconditionally. Mother of Karen Michaud, Donna Doerfler and the late Steven Eimutis. Mother in law of the late Allan Michaud. Grandmother of Nancy Murray, Peter Eimutis, Shelby Doerfler, Stephanie and Jessica Michaud and the late Susan Decarlos. Sister of Emily Kamera and the late Mary Hobart. Also survived by many great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Wednesday evening at 7:00. Family and friends may call from 4:00 until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3 Landmark Square, Suite 330, Stamford, CT 06901.
