Margaret M. Provost Kelly, 98, of North Haven formerly of Florence Street, East Haven passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Whitney Rehabilitation Care Center, Hamden with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles P. Kelly. Margaret was born in New Haven on April 13, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Frederick F. and Evelyn Edwards Provost. She had worked for the former First Bank for 13 years and later as a secretary for the former Tyler Cooper Law Firm for nine years until her retirement. Margaret was a member of the North Haven Senior Center, enjoyed art, painting, and taking frequent trips to the casino. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Susan Odell (Larry) and Kathleen Notarino (Louis, Jr.), and her grandchildren Brian Odell (Crystal), Kelly Sanborn (Jeremy), Christina Notarino and Louis Notarino III. She was adored by her great-grandchildren Autumn and Lilly.
The visiting hours will be Saturday morning, Dec. 10th from 9:00 to 10:30 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 355 Foxon Road, East Haven at 11:00 AM. A burial service will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
