Margaret (Peg) Casey Cuticello passed away after a long illness on August 18, 2018 in the company of loving family members.  Peg’s beautiful smile, warm personality and unique style will be missed by her family and friends.  Mother of Marguerite Cuticello of Danielson, Kathleen (Robert) Simione of Hamden and Vincent Cuticello (Ted Levenson) of New York City; Grandmother of Robert (Stephanie) Simione of Katonah, New York, Michael Simione of Phoenix, Arizona; Great Grandmother of Emma and Quinn Simione; and, Doggy Grandmother to Archie and Elle.  Peg’s survivors also include her Sister-in-Law, Loretta (Clini) Casey her brothers, Father Thomas Casey (OSA) of Villanova, Pennsylvania, Lawrence (Marlene) Casey of North Branford and her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Peg is predeceased by her husband, Vincent James Cuticello, her parents Thomas and Mary (Sirico) Casey and her brother Michael Casey. Peg worked as a school teacher for decades and is known to many for her second, part-time employment as a top-performing salesperson at Macy’s fragrance counter in Milford.   The family wishes to thank Peg’s caregivers and other staff members at Whitney Center for their help and support.

Family and friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 2809 Whitney Avenue, Hamden on Wednesday morning, August 22nd at 11:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Peg’s family requests donations be sent to the Alzheimer Association, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT  06489 or the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
