Marie C. Delano Notaro, 102, formerly of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the Montowese Health & Rehabilitation Center, North Haven. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Notaro. Marie was born in New Haven on November 22, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Domenico and Demetria Arenia Delano. She was a member of the North Haven Senior Center and the Red Hatters. Mother of Linda Balletto and Marie Tammara (Michael) Grandmother of Michelle Rose (Matthew), Holly Verret (Raymond) and April Tibbetts (Lawrence). Great Grandmother of Nicholas and Dylan Balletto, Jarrett and Adrianna Cacopardo, Amanda Verret and Blake Tibbetts. Predeceased by her son-in-law Frank Balletto, brothers Nicholas and James Delano, sister Jean Bernardo and Mayme Sroka.
The visiting hours will be Friday morning, May 7th from 9:30 to 10:30 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Church of the Resurrection, Wallingford at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Closer to Free Fund, Smilow c/o Yale-New Haven Hospital Development, P.O. Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508.

There arn’t enough words in the Dictionary to properly convey my deep sorrow on the passing of Marie ( Aunt Marion ).. I was truly blessed being in her FAMILY……Our lunches at Antonio’s were very special, especially to the staff who loved serving her…May she rest in the Eternal Peace of Our Lord, Jesus Christ….Nephew Marty Carlo, Jr.
