Marie Pellegrino Pacileo, 89, of North Haven, formerly of East Haven for many years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent A. Pacileo, Jr. Marie was born in New Haven on April 27, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Louis and Marie Ferrucci Pellegrino. She was a Cub Scout Den Leader in her younger days, member of the Annex Y.M.A. Ladies Auxiliary, volunteered at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, enjoyed going to the Clelian Adult Day Center and was an avid reader. Mother of Donna Voytek (Philip), Vincent A. Pacileo III (Laura) and Paul Pacileo (Anne). Grandmother of Adrienne & Stephanie Voytek, Vincent A. Pacileo IV, Christopher Pacileo, Erin Fredette (Colin), Catherine and Natalie Pacileo. Great-Grandmother of Zachary Fredette. Sister of Louise Stephens, Anthony Pellegrino (Gloria) and the late Josephine Tiroletto, Helen Brown, Elizabeth Ernandez and Louis Pellegrino.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Wednesday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 10:00. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum. The visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm.
