The kind and gentle soul of Marilyn Charbonneau Frank, 82, of North Haven, entered eternal rest on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford after a brief illness with her family by her side. She was the widow of Robert E. Frank, her soulmate and love of her life for 56 years. Marilyn was born in New Haven on November 29, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Edward G. and Evelyn Clifford Charbonneau. She grew up in Morris Cove, surrounded by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends, of whom she had a lifetime of fond memories and stories. Marilyn was retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and later had several part-time jobs, including CT Hospice where she worked as a nursing assistant and volunteered at St. Raphael Hospital. Marilyn was happiest when surrounded by family, telling stories about her life or feeding the birds in her yard and loved tending to her gardens. She loved her home and found comfort there; she greeted everyone with a cheerful hello and her Irish eyes that were forever smiling. Mother of Sharon (John) Palmeri, Robert (Suzanne) Frank, Susan (John) Puzycki and Stephen Frank. Grandmother of Michelle (Tarn) Palmeri-Grannucci, Kathleen (Adam) Wojcik, Jennifer (Ralph) Floriano, Kevin Puzycki, Christopher Frank, Matthew and Kurt Puzycki, James and Daniel Frank. Great Grandmother of Aaron Wojcik and future great-granddaughter Floriano. Predeceased by her beloved brother Edward G. Charbonneau, whom she missed dearly. Her family will always be thankful for her gift of unconditional love.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Frances Cabrini Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm.
