Marjorie A. Fortier Sullivan, 76, of Northford, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, at her home. She was the beloved wife for 54 years to David E. Sullivan. Marjorie was born in Concord, New Hampshire on July 11th, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Eleanor Faretra Fortier. A Registered Nurse, Marjorie attended Elliot School of Nursing, in Keene, NH. She had worked as the Chief Operating Officer for Seabury Active Life Plan Community of Bloomfield for many years until her retirement. Marjorie enjoyed collecting antiques. Mother of Jonathan Sullivan (Elizabeth). Grandmother of Grace and James. Sister of Kenneth Fortier (Pam), Michael Fortier (Donna), Sally Hayslip (the late Skip). Also survived by her aunt Dr. Gloria Faretra, nieces, and nephews.
The visiting hours will be Monday morning, August 7th from 10:30 to 11:00 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A parlor service will be conducted at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Notre Dame High School, Notre Dame Way, West Haven, CT 06516.
