Mark Lawrence DePalma, 68, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven with his family by his side. Born in New Haven on February 6, 1950, he was the son of the late Pasquale V. and Rose Mary Furcolo DePalma.  Mark earned a bachelor’s degree for the Paier School of Art.  He has worked for the Advisor, Westside Shopper and later for the Yale Medical School Library.  Mark was an excellent artist and an avid collector of antiques.  Brother of Michael (Jacquie) DePalma, Peter (Gina) DePalma.  Companion and best friend of Christopher Champagne.  Cousin of Carol Ann Rappa (who was like a sister to Mark).  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Tuesday morning at 11:30.  Family and friends may call from 9:30 until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mark L.
