Martha Marino Carrano, 77, of Westbrook and Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at her home in Florida with her loving husband of 54 years Neil Carrano by her side. Martha was born in New Haven on September 2, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Dominick and Alice Huzar Marino. A 1962 Hamden High School graduate, Martha had worked for National Cash Register as a Human Resource Manager for 13 years in Dayton, Ohio and office manager for her family business, Carrano’s Express, Northford, CT.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church/St. Paul VI Parish, 2819 Whitney Avenue, Hamden on Tuesday morning, June 14th at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamden.
