Mary Ann Savanelli Augur, 82, of Northford passed away peacefully on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Apple Rehab, Guilford. She was the beloved wife of the late George H. Augur, Jr. Mary was born in New Haven on August 8, 1934 and was the daughter of the late William and Mary Jane DeLucia Savanelli. She had worked as the Registrar of Voters for the Town of North Branford; had worked for Senior Housing and was a member of the Northford Company #2 Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Mother of George (Dana) Augur III and Karl (Kerstin) Augur. Grandmother of George H. Augur IV, Ryan and Meghan Augur. Sister of William (Patty) Savanelli, Lucille (Karl) Lattig and the late Christine Baber and Florence Ward. Aunt of Gary Tamlevich who was like another son to her.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Monday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Monica Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 pm.

We were so sorry to hear of Mary Ann’s passing. We lived across the way from her when we moved up here from NY 26 years ago and she was a kind soul. Always nice to see her at the Voters booths each year. So sorry for your loss.
