Maryann Dauria Mele, 65, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Monday April 3, 2017 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 42 years to Wayne A. Mele. Maryann was born in New Haven on February 14, 1952; daughter of Trofimena Cimino Dauria and the late Charles Dauria; had worked for the New Haven Water Authority for 26 years, later for Group Benefits and later for Anthem/Blue Cross until her retirement. Maryann was a member of the North Haven Senior Center where she enjoyed doing ceramics and enjoyed the sun and the beach. Step-Mother of Anthony (Terese) Mele. Grandmother of Victoria and Isabella. Sister of Anthony (Julie) Dauria.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday morning, April 8th at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The visiting hours will be Friday, April 7th from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation CT Division, 127 Washington Avenue, North Haven, CT 06473.

so hard to understand your passing but my heart tells me that you are at peace now and no longer in pain-it seems not to long ago we played as children-you will always be in my heart until we see each other again-rest well my cousin Mary Ann.
