Melvin Boykin, 64, of Ellsworth Ave New Haven, CT, passed away on March 17, 2021, after a prolonged battle with prostate cancer. In addition to his nephew, Brett Boykin-Roach, and niece, Taylor Boykin-Roach, he is survived by his brother, Mark Boykin, sister Darlyne Boykin and her husband Lincoln Roach. I am so sorry for your loss. I’ve only known Mel for a few years, but I felt like we’ve know it each for years. We loved talking about Mob movies and talked about going on the Mafia Tour in New York. He was a very nice person and I will miss him.
We are so sorry to learn of Melvin’s passing , I am going to miss him so much. I/we have such fond memories of him , even from his childhood. I so vividly remember him and his sisters and brothers , I had so much fund with them . I think that they viewed me more like their big sister, rather than their aunt. I will always love and cherish those remember and will the love the family and I will miss him so much as I do the others.
Eternal Love
Aunt Lii.
