Mia Clementina Simuong, beloved three-year-old daughter of Dennis and Stefania Simuong, of East Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 25th, 2021 at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with her mommy and daddy by her side. Mia was born in New Haven on April 26, 2017. Loving granddaughter of Richard and Clementina Onofrio, Don and Kim Simuong. Dear niece of Rebecca and Mark Avery, Angelo Onofrio, and David Simuong. Also survived by her adoring cousins Ariana Onofrio, Travis and Callie Avery.
The visiting hours will be Tuesday, April 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Wednesday morning, April 7th at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mia Simuong/Edward J. Onofrio Foundation c/o Liberty Bank, 153 College Street, New Haven, CT 06510.
