Michael I. Purificato, 92, of Cheshire, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 17th, 2023, at the Whitney Health & Rehab Center, Hamden. He was the beloved husband of the late Paula Civitello Purificato. Michael was born in New Haven on November 26th, 1930, the son of the late Antonio and Anna Dinello Purificato. He worked for the former Marlin Firearms for many years until his retirement. Father of Michael A. Purificato (Deirdre) and Diane (Bill) O’Donald. Grandfather of Marissa Purificato, Jennifer, and Samantha. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
There will be no visiting hours. Entombment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
To the family of Michael Purificato, father, uncle, brother, grandfather & great grandfather, My deepest sympathies, although there was family distance through the years, i have fond childhood memories, and also the reconnect with him, even for that moment at my dad’s, his brother Ralph’s funeral, he had taken the time to have words of comfort. May he Rest in Peace
