Michael Mace Perfetto, 31, of Middletown, formerly of North Haven passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. Born in New Haven on July 6th, 1992, he was the beloved son of Gregg M. and MaryBeth Mace Perfetto. Michael was a loving, caring, kindhearted young man who had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh with his jokes and impersonations, and made-up silly nicknames for everyone he was close with. He would do anything for family and friends. He loved to cook and try many different international meals, sometimes concocting his own version of these meals. He loved to play board games and go out with friends. Michael made friends wherever he went and enjoyed spending time with them and his family especially his three sisters who he loved unconditionally. Loving brother of Cassandra “Rink” Murray (Steven) and Courtney “Scrimps” Perfetto. He was the fun uncle of Emilia “Emils” Murray, Grace “Baby Geese” Murray and Henry “Hank” Murray. Grandson of Richard Mace. Also survived by many, aunts, uncles and cousins (who he loved growing up with and reminiscing about all the fun times), his pet dog Sadie “Tiny” or “Tiner” and his pet turtle Franklin. He was predeceased by his sister Erin “Squeak” Perfetto, and infant sister Ashley, grandparents, Joanne Mace, Raymond and Eileen Perfetto, his uncles Gary and Bruce Perfetto. He is also survived by several close friends that were very special to him and he considered family. Michael’s family would like to thank our family and friends for all of the love and support you have shown us- we will never forget your kindness.
The visiting hours will be Saturday, Jan.27th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Make-A-Wish of Connecticut, 56 Commerce Dr., Trumbull, CT 06611. This organization was well-respected by Michael since 2011 when his younger sister Erin was a wish kid.

Please accept our deepest sympathy & condolences. Michael was a classmate of Marissa’s & he truly was one of the nicest & kindest people you would ever meet. Marissa would always tell us how he would joke around with her in class. May he rest in peace with his sisters & may God comfort all of you from this day forward. You will always remain in our prayers.
