Michael Patterson Doyle, 21, of Durham, beloved son of Sean M. and Tina Patterson Doyle passed away on Friday, February 19th, 2021. Born in New Haven on June 4, 1999, Michael was a graduate of Xavier High School, Middletown, CT and was in his junior year at the University of New Hampshire. Michael had worked for Torrison Stone & Garden, Traditions Golf Course, Pease Golf Course in NH, Brownstone Park and Powder Ridge, Middlefield. He enjoyed many things including, snowboarding, golfing, lacrosse, quadding, dirt biking, fishing and deer watching just to name a few. Brother of Sean, Ryan, and Tyler Doyle. Grandson of MaryAnn Doyle, Arthur and Marcia Patterson, and the late Thomas Doyle. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael made many lifelong friends in Durham, CT, Xavier & the University of New Hampshire. He was a kind and caring soul, who made friends wherever he went. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all that were fortunate enough to know him.
Family and friends are invited to a walk-through visiting hour on Saturday, February 27th at Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12noon. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum, North Haven.(Masks and social distancing strictly required for all services) In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Xavier High School in his name, 181 Randolph Road, Middletown, CT 06457.

I wasn’t Mike’s closest friend, but I was his friend. We grew to be friends while riding the bus to and from Strong Middle School. After I left Xavier, where we had many lunches together, I didn’t see Mike for a long time until the past few years when I reconnected with many of my old friends from Durham. I was always happy to see him, and he always seemed happy to see me. I always found myself laughing whenever I was with him. I was profoundly shocked and saddened to hear about his passing. My deepest condolences to your family.
