Michael Parisella, 64, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Yale New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus, with his family by his side after a long and courageous battle with diabetes. He was the beloved husband of 21 years to Christine Matheis Parisella. Born in Bridgeport on October 14th, 1956, he was the son of Marylou Stairs Parisella and the late Edward Parisella. Michael adored his 40-year career as a heavy equipment operator at Tilcon and was honored with a 40-year pin. He was a member of IUOE Local #478. Mike loved and adored his family, his many nieces and nephews, his cat “Bigz” and his 1970 Chevy Nova. Mike’s sarcasm was infectious and warmed many hearts. Father of Christopher Michael Parisella. Brother of Lynn van Dijk, Jan Voland and John Parisella. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box7023, Merrifield, VA 2216-7023

Mike you will be missed I had much fun in scouts camping with our boys. You and I did the opposite of what they where teaching the kids. But your son and mine grew up great,. I still cannot stop laughing at all the shit we did in the camping trips. You will always be in my heart and memories forever.
