Michael T. DelGuidice, 94 of Cheshire, formerly of North Haven and Wallingford, passed away peacefully in the presence of loving family at his home on December 26, 2021. As he often said when leaving, he assured everyone, “I’ll see you when I see you”. Michael was born in New Haven, CT on July 20, 1927 to Julius and Marie Campagnuolo DelGuidice. He grew up in Fair Haven and East Haven and worked at Cott Beverages for many years. He was a member of the Greatest Generation as a Navy veteran of the WWII Pacific campaign. He married Marjorie (nee) Silverman, (deceased) and raised his family in Wallingford, CT.  He enjoyed cookouts, family gatherings, and regular Sunday morning breakfasts with his brothers Felix and Julie. Mike was an avid baseball and football fan and especially loved the Yankees (he equally loved all the NFL teams). He was devoted to his family and is survived by his son, Michael DelGuidice, and daughters, Lorie (Edward) Jones and Marie (William) Craig; grandchildren Michael (Lisa) DelGuidice, Philip DelGuidice, Benham Jones, and Kathryn (Mauricio) Zuniga; great-grandchildren Harrison and Sloane DelGuidice, and Edward and Thomas Zuniga; and brothers Felix (Rose) DelGiudice and Julius (Lynn) DelGuidice. He is survived by his long-time companion Dorothy Molnar and many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his nephew Mark DelGuidice and daughter-in-law Martha Sulzbach DelGuidice.  The family is grateful to VNA Community Hospice and Angels of Light Homecare for their support.

The visiting hours will be Sunday, January 2nd from 1-4 pm at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Project.
