Nancy J. Pellegrino Puccino, 93, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 25th, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Puccino.  Nancy was born in New Haven on March 23, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy Lombardi Pellegrino.  She had worked as a cook for Talmadge Park Health Care of East Haven for many years.  Nancy enjoyed traveling and watching the TCM channel on television.  A great cook, Nancy enjoyed entertaining at her home but most of all she was devoted to her family whom she loved unconditionally.  Mother of Peter (Claudia) Talarczyk, Fred (Linda) Bemis, Nancy Bemis, Sharon (Todd) Bjornberg, Thomas Bemis, Michael (AnnaMarie) Puccino, Richard (Chanpen) Puccino, Joseph Puccino, Jr., Robert (Theresa) Puccino, Anthony (Roseann) Puccino and the late Sandra Williams (Varriale).  Sister of Ann Greenwood and the late Emily, Thomas, Gaetano Pellegrino, Louis and Anthony Mocco.  Also survived by her son-in-law Antonio Varriale, 27 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

The visiting hours will be Friday, Oct. 29th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Saturday morning, Oct. 30th at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery
