Nicholas F Tirozzi, 80 years old of Venice, Florida. Formerly of North Haven. Passed away peacefully on August 28, 2022 after a long illness. Husband of Linda Caruso Tirozzi for 58 years. Born in New Haven, CT on March 9, 1942. Son of the late Gerald and Rose Varipapa Tirozzi. Graduated from Wilbur Cross High School in 1960. He was a New Haven Firefighter. Father of Gina (Greg) Nutcher, and Nicole (Fred) Petrucci. Grandfather of Ashley Petrucci, and Kaitlyn and Gregory Nutcher. Brother of the late Stephen (Anna) and Gerald (Sharman) Tirozzi.
The visiting hours will be Friday morning, October 7th from 10:00 until time of a Catholic funeral a service at 12 noon in The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

I attended Cross with Nick. He was a best friend and classmate during high school. I later saw Nick when I was Manager of a bank in North Haven. Just as nice and respectful as I remembered him. .My sincere sympathy to his family.
I am so sorry for the loss of Nick Tirozzi. He and Linda were long ago friends of mine from our travel agency in North Haven. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
