Keeping you Sheryl and your family in prayers at this time. I remember all those good times at your house in the basement, for dinner parties. Your husband was a great cook and a genuine man with a heart of gold. Keeping all your sons in prayers at this time. Love Kim Washington
My husband Louie and I are both saddened to hear of the passing of Nicky. My family (Angelini) and the Aurora’s go back many years and my heartfelt sympathy go out to them all because a close-knit family like theirs will certainly be heartbroken.
Nicky was a character. Witty, quick with a joke or funny story, generous beyond a fault and always smiling. We may not have seen him in the past couple of years, but he was and will- always be in our hearts. When I think of Nicky, the wonderful memories I have will definitely make me laugh to myself (corn on the cob & Peroni umbrella). RIP my friend, I’m sure you’re keeping everyone on their toes, laughing & smiling in Heaven. God Bless. Our deepest sympathy to Nicky’s family & friends.
Sincerely, Louis & Joanne (Angelini) Palumbo

Nicky You have gone through so much pain and suffering for a long time. You were hit with one hurdle after another. You never seemed to complain. You tried and managed to do everything you could, especially visiting mommy . We know it was very hard for you to do. We will never forget all the Christmas
Eves at your house. We were a big crowd for sure and it got very hot in the room. Well you couldn’t take the heat so you opened the window and we all were freezing. You would just laugh. We know you looked forward to Richie’s ham pie. We think of you often but Christmas and Easter will always be more special for us. We know you are with Daddy now. Please watch over all of us. Brother you will be dearly missed and loved.

To Nicky’s Entire Family,
I was so very saddened when Jimmy told me about Nicky. He endured so much. Faith teaches me to rejoice in remembering all the good times I was able to share with him, Sheryl & Sparky. He taught me how to make pasta e fagioli, and to this day I think of him when I make it. I still have the recipe card; I wrote the instructions while he dictated! We laughed, and had so many good times over the years I hold dear. I was blessed to be part of his family. He made a difference to so many in his lifetime as a dad, husband, brother, friend, and in-law. He was a great guy who will be missed by many.
Jimmy– I know all you did for him, and hope the time you shared and the memories you have will help you to heal and find peace. He is with Sal and Sparky, watching over your family.
Grief is the last act of love we can give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief, there was great love. Nicky– rest in the arms of the Lord and may he grant you eternal slumber.

Memories Of My Brother
How well I do remember, all the special time we had
As we were raised side by side, sharing good times, sharing bad
Sometimes we would disagree, but always made up in the end
But as we grew to be adults, we became friends
Then you heard the voice of Jesus gently calling from on high
He was holding out his loving arms, but I could not say goodbye.
So I said “see you later” dear brother, till we meet again.
God looked around his garden and found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face,
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest,
with the help of his angles they flew you to your heavenly place ( Melissa Shreve)
Rest In peace my dear Brother, we will always treasure fond memories of lives together as a family.
Your suffering has been lifted, and you are with our father, please watch over our family, and give us the strength and courage to carry on.
My heart felt condolences, to the families and friends of Nicholas. I went to North Haven High School with him, and we became good friends as we shared our shop classes together. Once again, so sorry for your loss.
