Nicole J. Frizell, 40, of East Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 28th, 2023, at Yale-New Haven Hospital/St. Raphael Campus with her family by her side.  Born in New Haven on January 26th, 1983, daughter of Thomas G. Frizell and Janet Macy Dottori.  Stepdaughter of Julia Sullivan and John Dottori. Nicole worked as a baker for Julia’s Bakery and Panera Bread. She enjoyed reading, baking, her artwork, and fashion but most of all, Nicole enjoyed spending time with her family and friends whom she loved unconditionally. Sister of Kyle Frizell (Sarah), Gianna Appi and the late Thomas “TJ” Frizell, Jr. Granddaughter of Dorothy Frizell, Dolores Macy, Rita and John Nagorski and the late Glen Frizell, Ronald Macy, James, and Antoinette Dottori. Stepsister of Matthew Twarowski, Annie, and Sarah Sullivan. Niece of Dan and Janet Frizell, Enrico and Bonnie DiBiase, Linda Macy, James Dottori (Tracy), Christine McGuire Kuhn (Patrick), Maryann Parisi and the late Robin Frizell. Also survived by many cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Raphael’s campus, North Pavillion I.C.U. for the excellent comfort and care they provided.

The visiting hours will be Thursday, August 31st from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
