Norma Ursini Jacques, 83, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Whitney Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul C. Jacques Sr. Norma was born in New Haven on March 6, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Louis M. and Catherine Palmieri Ursini. Mother of William Jacques, Deborah Tropiano, Denise (Joe) Verrillo and the late Paul C. Jacques Jr. Grandmother of Nicole (Nelson) Jacques, Alphonse (Missy) Jacques, Richard (Lori) Tropiano Jr., Candace (James) Amendola, Dayne Jacques, Renee (Nate) Savo, Taylor Jacques, and the late Joseph Verrillo and Jordan Jacques. Great-grandmother of Gabby, Gianna, Jaden, Nico, Tyler, Nicholas, Joseph, Anthony and the late Matty Jacques. Sister of Louis “Louie” (Fannie) Ursini. Predeceased by four sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Wednesday morning at 11:00. Family and friends may call from 10:00 until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

I am sorry sorry to hear the loss of Norma. My heart hoes out to the Jacques family. I will always remember when we all would go to the hockey games to see The New Haven Blades. What a beautiful lady. Rest In Peace always❤️
