Orlando Guadarrama Perez, 72, of New Haven, passed away peacefully on March 21st, 2023 at the Arden House, Hamden. Born in Camuy, Puerto Rico on January 4, 1951, he was the son of the late Gavino and Inocenzia Perez Guadarrama. He served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Vietnam era and was a member of the Antique Veterans. Orlando was a mechanic and had worked for NAPA Auto Parts. He enjoyed playing pool, bingo and Dominos. Father of Suzette Guadarrama and Jose O. Guadarrama. Grandfather of Gianna E. Strode. Brother of Israel, Alma, Olga, Minerva, Iluminada and Paquito Guadarrama.
The visiting hours will be Saturday morning, April 8th from 9:00 to 11:00 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Military honors will be rendered at 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Edward Cornell. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
