Pasquale “Pat” “ZiZi” Chiaia, 56, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28th, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Pat was born in New Haven on September 11th, 1965, and was the beloved son of Antonio and Maria Chiaia. A graduate of North Haven High School, Pat later graduated from the University of New Haven in 1991 where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Pat was currently employed by Innovative Engineering Services LLC. Pat enjoyed corvettes, especially driving his own 50th anniversary corvette. He loved riding his bicycle and vespa, working out at the gym, running road races, hiking and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. Loving brother of Joseph Chiaia (Mary Ann), Nina and John Chiaia. Devoted uncle to Anthony, Richie, Maria, Aidan, Ana Chiaia and Johnny Ziomek. Pat was a very hard worker, always there to lend a helping hand, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends who he loved unconditionally. He was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
The visiting hours will be Wednesday, August 3RD from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Thursday morning, August 4th at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Pat, I am going to miss you so much. You were such a sweet, loving and generous person. I will miss your texts that you send every morning with a picture of your breakfast and lunch.
