Pasqualina M. Viglione Casagrande, 101, of Madison passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 24th, 2022, at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 48 years to the late Joseph J. Casagrande, Sr. Pasqualina was born in New Haven on March 21st, 1921 to the late Gaetano and Angelina Isacco Viglione. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, who she was extremely devoted to. Loving mother of Angela (David) Lavorgna, Janet (Joseph) Schettino, MaryAnn (Harold) Annicelli, Jospeh (Susan) Casagrande, Jr., and Donna (Paul) Ortolan. Pasqualina is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Stephen Viglione. She was predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters.
The visiting hours will be Monday morning, November 28th, from 9:30 to 11:30 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven at 12 noon. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
