Patricia Ann Halko-Jones, widow of Lloyd Patrick Jones died unexpectedly on 1-23-17 in Meriden, Ct. at the age of 70. “Patti” was born on March 24th, 1946 in Bridgeport, Ct., daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Halko. She attended St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic School and graduated from Bunnel High School in 1963. Patti married John M. Aiello in 1964 and lived in Ct. until moving to Boca Raton, FL in 1972. One of Patti’s many claims to fame was her Italian Delicatessen named appropriately after her Dad “Scoppy’s”, where she created amazing delicacies and catered to Boca’s finest from 1973 – 1982. After having lived in Ct from 1984 – 1986 she moved back to Florida to be close to her family and settled in Tallahassee where she raised her 2 sons. Patti was passionate about life and living, holding strong values and morals close to her heart. She loved her family and friends fiercely and with enormous passion. Her love of cooking was another passion, no one ever left her home hungry, and her children carry on this tradition of cooking with love. She was a fervent lover of animals; having been a dog breeder, she raised prize winning poodles while living in CT. Patti was never without at least 1 dog at her side. Her infectious laugh and her amazing sense of humor was shared by all. She adored her grandson, John Angus Stewart Aiello, the twinkle in her eye. She is survived by her brother, John Halko Jr, and her 2 sisters, Debra Brigman and Katharine Cochran, as well as her former husband and father of her 3 children, John M. Aiello. She is also survived by her 3 children, Steven M. Aiello, Christopher J. Aiello, Lori-Ann Aiello and daughter in law, Michelle L. Pych. The family would like to express their gratitude for the love and care shown to Patti during her time at The Curtis Home in Meriden, Ct.
Funeral services will conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday at 12:00 Noon. Family and friends may call from 10:00 until time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

I soooo miss you my Wonder sister! When I think of you now, I will always carry your heart in mine especially now that you are in Heaven with Mommy and Daddy! I will miss you screaming out my name when I walked through your bedroom door at Curtis House and laughing at everything we talked about! I will miss how much you loved me! How you were ALWAYS there no matter where I was in my life. And although your stroke took away your ability to enunciate clearly, I knew when you were pleased and displeased with things that I was going on in my life. So for now, I will say to you, I will someday feel your warm embrace again when I walk through Heavens doors. God has soooooo blessed me with having a best friend who just happened to be my sister! XXXXXXXOOOOOO

Thank you Janice! We were looking through pictures the other day and found a picture of Patti and Sheila at her bridal shower. It look like the two of them we’re going to jump up and just start dancing the night away. Isn’t it good to know they’re really doing that now? Hope someday to see you when I’m on one of my visits to Connecticut. God bless you
