Patricia Longo DiCarlo, 79, of East Haven, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1st, 2022 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the wife of 59 years to Anthony DiCarlo. Patricia was born in New Haven on June 19, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Ruth Richards Longo. A 1960 graduate of James Hillhouse High School, Patricia had worked as a receptionist for her daughter’s hair salon, Head-Lines, Hamden. Mother of Lynn Johnson (Paul) and Anthony DiCarlo (Mary). Grandmother of Sabrina DiCarlo, Summer DiCarlo and Arianna Johnson. Sister of Denise Alongi and the late Frank Alongi, Jr. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The visiting hours will be on Saturday morning, May 7th from 8:30 to 9:30 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 355 Foxon Road, East Haven at 10:00 AM Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
