Patricio Agustin Peneyra, 82, of North Branford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to the late Marciana Carino Peneyra. Patricio was born in Solsona, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on March 17, 1939 and was the son of the late Rafael Roxas and Florentina Peneyra. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from Philippine Maritime Institute. Patricio worked as a factory supervisor at Dutch Boy Paint until his retirement at age 60. Beloved father of Leilani Peneyra Hortillo (Edwin), Jinky Carino Peneyra and Hazel Peneyra Escubio (Noel). Loving grandfather of Felicia Emily and Ethan Hortillo, Hannah Gabrielle, and Jerhome Thomas Dean Escubio. Brother of Wilson Fahigal, Eppie Fahigal Encabo, and Angelyn Fahigal.
The visiting hours will be Sunday, Dec. 12th at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. A service will be conducted in the funeral home at 10:00. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
