Fred was a kind hearted man. Very unexpected. We can’t imagine not seeing him this summer at the Houde house. Mike, Stefan & Skyler also offer their condolences. Shocking to all of us. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Know he is looking down on each and every one of you.
To my beloved Father In Law, words cannot express how much I will miss you! You did so much for us…..Our beautiful home, wonderful vacations, and most beloved memories could not have happened without you and La! We had many good times and laughs together over the past 22 years, I will always hold those near to my heart. I love you so much and am so thankful to have you as my father in law. I want you to know the best part of our relationship, you treated me like your own son. You will always be with me……Love Darren
We only knew Paul and Linda for a few years but sure enjoyed the time we shared together at Silver Lakes. We especially have the great memories from the Mardi Gras parade. Rest in peace. Love, Jackie and Randy Gray.
Lisa, Chrissie, and Paulie, I have such good memories of growing up along with you on May Street, of playing in the park, watching Miss Ann teach Li and Chrissie baton and cheering for you at the parades, watching you get better and better when you played ball, before the floods and the ways of the world wrecked the neighborhood. Ours was its last generation.
Your father, Paul, was a good man and was one of the grown-ups who kept us feeling safe. We WERE safe. Because of people like your father, ours was a wonderful place to grow up. We could leave our front doors open so our parents could watch us play outside. I don’t know if the old neighborhood is like that anymore. Look at other neighborhoods and see how lucky we were and we didn’t even know it then. You guys can be SO PROUD of your dad for being part of it.
I am so, so sorry for your loss and I am glad about each day of your lives that you were able to share with him. Remember his stories, as they are treasures.
To my dear high school friend Linda. It was so nice to meet you and Paul at our recent high school reunion. I recently heard about your loss and am heartbroken for you. You certainly had a wonderful life with Paul and your extended family. I am so very sorry to hear this very sad news. Blessings to you and your family.
Love, Alice

We are so sorry to hear about Paul’s passing. He was a great guy – and family man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Linda and his entire family during this difficult time.
Linda, we are so shocked and saddened by Paul’s leaving us all so early and suddenly. I love how he called me “Mare” and as you know, Jerry is beside himself as they were great buds and two peas in a pod. We had so much fun with you both over the years. Our hearts go out to you and the family, losing such a great husband, father, and grandfather way too soon is so difficult. We hope that the fond memories of Paul, so spirited, kind, generous and fun, will help you through this painful time.
We love you both. RIP dear Paulie…soar high with the angels!
Dear Lisa and family,
My heart goes out to you. I have wonderful memories of your Dad from our times playing at your house in elementary school, to him coaching us on the softball field. He was fun, kind, and caring and of course he loved his kids so much. I am thinking of you and sending lots of love your way.
Dearest Christine and family

My deepest sympathy to Linda and family. I will always remember and cherish our hockey days together!!
Words cannot express how I am feeling right now. Paul and Linda traveled to The Bahamas before I was born. They met my parents and instantly formed a bond that would never be broken. In 1997 when I was born, Paul and Linda became my godparents; trust me I love them both so much, they always came to The Bahamas during my birthday just about every year. I will miss him so much, but he will be in my heart. Goddie Linda, please know that I have you, and the entire family especially the children in my thoughts and prayers.
I Pray God will give you all the strength during this difficult time, and I convey my deepest condolences to the entire family. Love you all. Rest in Peace godfather. Love Always!
