Paul R. Keil, 68, of North Haven, formerly of West Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital surrounded by his family and friends.  He was the beloved husband of Linda Maturo Keil.  Paul was born in New Haven on September 13, 1949 and was the son of the late Paul and Mary Reinwald Keil.  He served his country faithfully in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam era.  Paul was the owner and operator of Contractors Steel Supply and CSS Golf Carts both of North Haven.  He was a collector of antique cars, enjoyed boating and fishing, playing cards, golfing, family shuffleboard and bag tournaments, hosting memorable Christmas Eve gatherings and camping,  taking frequent trips to the casino but most of all he enjoyed his family, his children and especially his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.  Father of Lisa Houde (Ed), Christine Bedard (Darren) and Paul Keil.  Grandfather of Daniel and Jason Houde, Austin and Tori Bedard, Jordan and Brianna Keil.  Brother of Ann Keil Bauman (Douglas) and the late David Keil.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Thursday morning at 10:00 with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating.  Entombment with full military honors will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum.  The visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm.  Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT  06492
