Pauline Auguste Wiebach Kurylo, 88, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Whitney Manor, Hamden.  She was married on September 18, 1948 to her beloved husband the late Mychajlo (Michael) Kurylo, Sr.  Pauline was born in Hainstadt, Germany on July 1, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Robert and Katharine Frick Wiebach.  She had worked for the BBC in Germany.  After coming to America in 1949, she worked at Roesslers for four years and later at C. Cowles and Company for 37 years until her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, taking pride in her home and was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church since 1949.  Sister of Luise Wiebach Schumann.  Aunt of Hans Peter Schumann.  She will be dearly missed by her close friends Margaret and Stu Maybury and her four legged friends Speckles, Dolli and Queenie. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her son Mychajlo (Michael) Kurylo, Jr. and brother-in-law Willi Schumann.

Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Saturday morning at 9:30.  Friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10:00.
