Peter C. Cuticello, 73, of Branford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Paula Maroney Cuticello. Peter was born in New Haven on April 30, 1949 and was the son of the late Peter J. and Gloria Avallone Cuticello. Loving father of Cara Leslie Hicks (Daniel). Adoring Papa to Olivia and Emilia Hicks. Loving brother to James V. Cuticello (Michael Alvey) and Paul A. Cuticello (Robert Kuehn). Peter was a proud member of Yale University Local 35 for 38 years and maintained an active role in union affairs including lobbying on its behalf at the Connecticut State Capital. Peter served his country faithfully and was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Mary Church/St. John Bosco Parish, 731 Main Street, Branford on Tuesday morning, August 9th at 10:00 to attend a Memorial Mass. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Closer to Free Fund, Smilow c/o Yale New Haven Hospital Development Office, PO Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06508.
