Phillip Anders LaRock, 49, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at his home. He was the husband of Maribel Rodriguez LaRock. Phillip was born in New Haven on October 31, 1969 and was the son of Paul LaRock and the late Jenny Noblisse. He had worked as a construction laborer for the Laborers Union Local #455. Phillip loved motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson,was a lover of animals especially his pit bull dogs and enjoyed fishing. Father of Carissa Rose LaRock (Jordan), Felipe and Jonathan Maldonado (Liliet). Brother of Paul LaRock (Terri), Jennette Krawec (Patrick Mickens Sr.), Stephen Yu (Angeline), Michael Yu (Paul Rimmer), Christopher Yu (Christylyn) and Monnique LaRock. Grandfather of Alyssa and Jordan Maldonado. Step-son of Ligaya LaRock. Uncle of Joseph (Nana) and Justin Krawec, Jessica Sichau and Kiana LaRock, Archie and Annika Yu. Predeceased by his grandparents Elias and Edith Kamekona Noblisse, Harold and Shirley LaRock.
The visiting hours will be on Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue with a funeral service to be conducted at 7:30 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Phil was one of the most honest and hardworking people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, he had more heart than the average guy! It’s not often that I get the opportunity to connect and bond with someone at this point in my life, Phil was happy to be a friend to me, and a damn good one! will miss him dearly.
