Phyllis Naclerio Magistro, 93, of North Haven, went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side. Wife of the late Joseph A. Magistro. Born in New Haven on July 24, 1924; daughter of the late Pasquale and Louise Grasso Naclerio. Phyllis was a graduate of Larson Junior College. She was a bookkeeper for Roebic Laboratories for over 20 years and a lifelong member of St. Therese Church. Phyllis was a great cook and loved nothing more than spending time on Sundays with her family, whom she loved dearly. Mother of Susan (Richard) Vizziello, Joseph P. (Christine) Magistro and Louise (Tony) Perfetto. Grandmother of Richard (Daniella) Vizziello, Laura Vizziello, Michele (Rob) Gialanella, Lisa & Maria Magistro, Anthony Perfetto, Jr., Christina (Michael) Colandrea and the late infant Joseph N. Magistro. Great grandmother of Richard Anthony Vizziello. Sister of Alice Esparo, Louis Naclerio and the late Vincent and Alfonse Naclerio.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, on Tuesday morning at 11:00 am. Family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice Foundation, 8537 Solution Center, Chicago, IL 60677-8005.
