Ranay Petersen Cirillo, 68, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Cirillo, Jr. for 45 years. Ranay was born in West Haven on March 18, 1955, and was the daughter of the late Richard and Rose Clini Petersen. Ranay worked as an Administrative Assistant at Yale School of Medicine and Infertility for 40 years. Mother of Joseph (Nicole) Cirillo, III and Alyssa (Brandon) Leach. Beloved grandmother of Lincoln Leach. Sister of Richard and Darlene Petersen. Daughter-in-law of Ida Cirillo. Sister-in-law of Vincent and Sandra Cirillo. Aunt of Lindsey (Joseph) Martino and Vincent (Ashley) Cirillo, Jr. and great-aunt of Angelina and Joseph Martino.
The visiting hours will be Wednesday, June 7th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church Thursday morning, June 8th at 10:00. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum.
Joey, Joey and Alyssa my heart is broken so sorry for your loss. Ranay’s smile and huge heart will be missed by all. She is forever in our hearts. May she soar with the angels and forever watch over you. Sending prayers and hugs . Yvonne

That beautiful picture of Ranay says it all. She always had that big warm smile full of humor. So friendly and outgoing, she was a joy to work with and a reassuring presence for our patients. She is truly going to be missed.
