Please know that we are praying for you.
We are grateful to Rick for his leadership of my son’s cub scout troop. He has only been a scout for a little over a year but Rick was a wonderful role model for him and the other boys. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I knew Rick as a work colleague at UnitedHealth Group. He was always someone that was not only very knowledgeable and dependable but kind and would do anything necessary to help his colleagues. My whole team is absolutely shocked and saddened. I’m especially more saddened as I’ve learned more about the amazing father and husband he was. Sending my deepest condolences…
Dear Antie, Vinny, Lori, Michele and family, We are so sorry to hear of your shocking loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. Please let us know if there is anything you need or that we can do… Sending much love and comforting thoughts to you all at this sad time.
Rick was the first person I met at the Pack 614 when I took my son there. To us, he is the face of the cub scout. He is the person who will send us the notifications and helped in arranging all the activities.
And he was a good scout leader. We had the Pinewood Derby Race last year. Rick was in charge of time keeping and calculating the winners of the race. At the race we had a lot of fun but my surprise came the day after when Rick informed me that he made an error in calculating and my son won the first prize instead of third. That told me that my son is with great scout leaders who can accept the responsibility when a mistake happens and make steps to correct that mistake.
I am deeply saddened for his untimely departure. And regret that my son will not get the chance to learn from Rick and his great character. We will miss him and always keep him in our hearts.
Our sincerest condolences on the loss of Rick. He was truly a good guy and we will carry the memories of him and our scouting journey with us. He had such an impact on many of the boys and was always willing to help. Your family is in our prayers.
Rick. was my coworker at UHG for the last 6 years. He was a fine man dedicated to his family and his community. He will be missed. Our prayers and condolences go to his family.
I worked with Rick at UHC. He was a very gentle and caring man. He was always willing to help anyone that needed him, and never complained. His passing is a shock and he will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.
I’ve worked with Rick for the past decade at UHG. He was always willing to help and lend a hand whenever needed. He never complained about anything. We will all miss him dearly on the ninth floor. He was a great person and I was blessed to know him. Sending prayers to his family. May he rest in peace.
Mr. Soares was an incredible influence on me as a Scout and his help in my Eagle Project was invaluable. He was a man dedicated to the Boy Scouts and what they stand for and I am proud to have known him. I know this must be incredibly hard for Jonathon and his wife and I truly want them to know they have my sincere support in these hard times. I am sad to here of this lose but he will be fondly remembered by myself and my family.
I have been blessed to have worked with Rick for almost 10 years. Rick was a great person and he was wonderful to work with. I cannot remember a time he ever complained about anything work related. He was truly a go-gether. Rick will be missed tremendously. Rest In Peace friend.
Rick will be greatly missed! He was a great husband, father, co-worker, Scout Leader but more importantly great friend!!
Besides the honor to call him friend I had the privilege to serve in Pack & Troop 614 and work at United Healthcare with him. Ryan will miss his friendship & leadership in Troop 614 but will benefit from the great qualities that Rick has passed to Jon. The Mut family will never forget Rick and we will cherish the memories of him. May God bless the Soares family! Gone way too soon, Rest In Peace to the biggest Patriot and Red Sox fan I know! You will be missed and never forgotten!!!
Rick and I worked together for many years at UHG. He was great to work with and and spoke of his family often. He will truly be missed by many people in many ways. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I am so sorry to read about your loss, I cannot imagine the pain and loss you’re feeling at this time. I have found comfort in the words at Revelation 21:3-4, perhaps you too can find comfort in that promise. One day there will be no reason for sad tears nor will death take away those we love. With deepest sympathies.
