Richard W. Iannucci, 87, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13th, 2022, at the VAMC, West Haven. Born in New Haven on November 26th, 1934, he was the son of the late Vincent and Katherine Valanzuolo Iannucci. Richard served his country faithfully in the US Navy during the Korean war. He had worked as a carpenter and was known as an excellent builder with “hands-of-gold”. Father of Katherine (Kathy) Dillion. Brother of Raymond (Angie) Iannucci, Ronald (Agnes) Iannucci, Rosemarie (Michael) Pragano and the late Robert and Ralph Peter Iannucci. Grandfather of Trent Dillion. Also survived by his best friend Mark Lightowler, many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the Office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Wednesday morning, Jan. 19th at 11:45 and may follow his funeral procession to the grave for at 12 noon service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VAMC, 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516 or the Halfway Home Rescue, 400 Universal Drive N, North Haven, CT 06473. The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue have been entrusted with the arrangements.
