Robert A. Crescenzo, 82, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 05, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lorraine M. Zampolli Crescenzo. Mr. Crescenzo was born in New Haven on April 7, 1938 and was the son of the late John and Sandra Santomassimo Crescenzo. Robert served his country faithfully in the US Army; worked as a Signal Foreman for Amtrak for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Wallingford Elks Lodge #1365, the V.F.W. Auzilliary Post #591 and the Wallingford Senior Center. Father of Robert (Nicole) Crescenzo. Grandfather of Dominic and Marissa Crescenzo. Brother of Joseph (Marie) Crescenzo, Dolores Gamberdella and the late John Crescenzo.
Funeral services will be private. The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, have been entrusted with the arrangements.
