Robert Louis Ruggiero (Bob), 61, of Robbinsville, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020. Born in New Haven on December 14, 1959, son of Helen Popolizio Ruggiero and the late Joseph W. Ruggero, Jr. Besides his mother, he is survived by a son Daniel Ruggiero of Bonita Springs, Florida, his fiancé Cathy (Kate) Czajka of Robbinsville, NJ, his sister Debra (Frank) Fraulo of East Haven, CT, his nieces Tammy (Joe) Boylan, Karissa Fraulo and nephew Joseph Fraulo, his ex-wife Tracy Perugini Ruggiero and many special cousins & countless friends. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph W. Ruggiero III. Bob was raised in Ansonia, CT before moving to New Jersey. Bob was a simple man, he loved his family, the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, NASCAR, & food! (Especially ribeye steaks) Bob loved to eat and drink, especially in the company of his countless friends and coworkers. Over the last 40 years Bob worked for Saybolt, Intertek Caleb Brett, before becoming Executive VP of AmSpec. He made so many friends across the globe. Bob made a lasting impression everywhere he went, with his infectious smile to his silly jokes, and childhood stories. Bob had a “Heart of Gold” and would do anything to help his family & friends. The family would like to thank the countless healthcare providers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in NY and NJ and his personal physician Dr. Jeffrey Rednor whom he had a special bond.
The visiting hours will be Saturday, Jan. 2nd from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, with a service to follow at 5:00 PM. (masks and social distancing required) In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Feedingamerica.org or the American Cancer Society in his honor

Condolences to the “Family” and Cathy, we have lost an icon and a well loved friend. His people skill was a very special gift, wherever he went whosoever he met he greeted genuinely.
