Robert “JJ” Fiorentino, 63, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at his home with his family by his side.  He was the beloved husband of Maria Caliendo Fiorentino and loving father of Lisa Fiorentino (Angel Garcias) and Kimberly Fiorentino.  Robert was born in North Miami Beach, Florida on June 15, 1959 and was the son of the late Philip and Helen Blake Fiorentino.  Beloved grandfather of Helena Garcias, Bianca Watts, Angel Garcias Jr., Amelia Watts, Manny Lopez, and the late Lucas Gentile.  Also survived by his sister in laws Madeline Piasecki (Charles), Kathleen Caliendo and Kathy Caliendo.  He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his brother Philip Fiorentino and his brother-in-law Lou Caliendo.  He served his country faithfully in the Army National Guard of CT.  He retired from Stop & Shop warehouse after 27 years and was the owner of RJF Painting for many years.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and watching football. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants.  Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Carmel Council, American Legion, Post 76 and Teamster Union, Local 443.

 The visiting hours will be on Sunday, Jan. 8th, from 2 to 5 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.  Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Paul the VI Parish at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 2819 Whitney Avenue, Hamden on Monday morning at 11:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
