Robert “Bob” Petrillo, Sr., 95, formerly of Killingworth, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26th, 2021 at The Linden at Woodbridge. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to the late Prudence T. Baldino Petrillo. Bob was born in New Haven on May 30th, 1926 and was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth Parrett Petrillo. He served his country faithfully in the US Navy during WWII and had worked as a TV Technician all his life. Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was man who enjoyed a “good meal” with family and friends. Father of Robert (Denise) Petrillo, Jr., Jerry (Teri) Petrillo and Michelle (Joe) Portelinha. Also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother Donald J. Petrillo.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly at Beaverdale Memorial Park, 90 Pine Rock Avenue, New Haven on Tuesday morning, Nov. 30th at 10:00 to attend a graveside service with full military honors.
