Dad we are here to celebrate your beautiful life, I am so thankful and blessed to have had you as my father. Thru you generations will grow and live in your light. I love you Dad and you will live in my heart forever. RIP
Saying goodbye is the hardest thing they say, but to remember a life and hold onto memories this you keep forever.
My father was more then a Dad, he was my teacher, and a friend. Growing up wasn’t taught by words, it was by example. We learned early to do everything on our own, and to make our dreams a reality by taking the step. Dad always used few words, at times they were difficult to hear, I’d take them words and always made me think. For me thinking and understanding taking the road and seeing how he was right in what he said. Dad was proud for us doing our thing, he knew that family was never far. If we failed we weren’t made to regret, it was always a lesson learned. Everyone has memories and family to hold onto, my memories. Mine will be of love, togetherness and happiness. A time when life was simple getting answers from family not Google. Technology has put pressure on us all, I rely myself to see things. My father was my Google growing up, through his life I learned so many things. Never will I walk alone, for saying goodbye is very hard. I’ll always have my Dad in my heart ,what he taught us was his legacy. Love you dad, you will be with us always
Carmen & I are very saddened by the news that Bob has passed away. Your family lived across the street from us for years, and we watched each others kids grow up. Bob was one of the hardest working people we ever met. He was always out in the yard doing something. It blew us away to see the concrete driveway he mixed and poured bag by bag, to widen their driveway for the new garage. We’ll never forget one big snowstorm we had, Carmen & I went out for a walk and we saw Bob & Salange out in the snow on their cross country skis! Bob was always enjoyable to talk to and he was an encyclopedia of information. As neighbors, we helped each other out mowing one’s lawn when the other was on vacation or taking our snow-blower over to help them clear their driveway when it was too deep to shovel. He was always helpful in any way he could be. You will be remembered and missed, Bob. RIP neighbor!
R.I.P. Robert. You will be missed.
I want to express my condolences to the Vandal family. Mr. Vandal was such a nice man. I always remembered him
smiling. My sincere condolences.
To all of the Vandal family – I was saddened to hear the passing of your dad. What a great father! Wow, reading this brought back many awesome childhood memories. I remember your dad always full of energy, one minute he was roller skating in JoDi’s parking lot and the next chopping a tree! Amazing guy. I know he enjoyed traveling in the “big green van” with the family. He was inspirational to me with his dedicated work ethic. I do hope you all are doing well during this sad time. God Bless – Tim Odaynik of Bowen Rd.
Thank you so much for caring for us during these times . Both you and john have been thru lose and as we get older we learned to cherish our family and memories. God bless you Tim
So sorry for your loss, great memories of Mr. Vandal growing up with his grandson Ben. Defiantly one of a kind, always an upbeat attitude and smile of his face.
I just heard this news today. Robert was my favorite client. Enjoyed his twice a year visits. He loved to ask me lots of questions. and we enjoyed the back and forth.
A pure gentleman.
