Robert Lawrence Villano, 77, of Branford, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Robert was born in Burlington, VT on May 27, 1945, and was the son of the late Edward and Cecile Francis Villano. He was the President of C&V Trucking for many years until his retirement. Robert was a member of the Knights of St. Patrick, loved golfing, bowling and his trucks, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family who meant the world to him. Father of Robert C. (Elaine) Villano and Carey A. (Jeffrey) Buffington. Grandfather of Ali, Ryan, Erin Villano, Megan, Emily, Madison and Amelia Buffington and the late Alexander Villano. Brother of Carol Cassell, Edward Villano, Tamne Midolo, Edward Villano, Monique Hawley and the late John Moore, and Wayne Villano.
The visiting hours will be on Monday, Jan. 23rd from 4 to 8 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A service will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday morning, Jan. 24th at 10:30. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
