Ronald A. DelVecchio, Jr., 46, of Hamden passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at home. He was the husband of Kim Bauman DelVecchio. Ronald was born in New Haven on June 4, 1971 and was the son of Ronald A. and Patricia A. DeBiase DelVecchio, Sr. He was the owner/operator of the former Presidential Marble & Granite L.L.C. of Hamden and later worked for Tile America. Ronald was an avid Boston Bruins and Oakland Raiders fan, enjoyed camping, skating, country music and vacationing with family and friends. Father of Kyla M. and Adriana E. DelVecchio. Brother of Stephanie Gibbs (William) and Andrea DelVecchio (Donald White). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Saturday morning at 10:00 with Deacon John Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Ronald A. DelVecchio, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund through the funeral director.

I just have no words, I lost my brother/best friend last year at age 48 under similar circumstances. It is truly a heartache to loose a loved one. I wish I could take the shock, grief and pain away.
