Rose M. DeLise Warren, 101, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, November 24, 2017 at home. She was the beloved wife of 63 years of the late Richard M. Warren. Rose was born in New Haven on April 1, 1916 and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Michelena Pascale DeLise. She worked as a Secretary for Air Balancing Service Company from 1958 to 1980, was an avid parishioner of St. Barnabas Church, a member of the St. Barnabas Women’s Club and New Haven Council of Catholic Women. Mother of Patricia (Joseph) Gherlone, Barbara Jane Milnes and Andrea Fruggiero. Grandmother of Joseph (Marie) Gherlone, Jr., Elizabeth (David) Price, Eileen “Lee” Warren, Kathryn Gherlone Priebe and Barbara “Bobbie” Davis. Great grandmother of Dr. Elysia M. Gherlone, Daniel K. Priebe, Joshua A.R. Gherlone and Timothy J. Priebe. Sister of Adelyn Walsh. Predeceased by her sister, Phyllis Dame, brother, Jerry DeLise, brother-in-law, Edward Walsh, grandson-in-law Russell Davis Sr.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A celebration of her life will be held, and announced at a later date in the new year.

I remember your Mom very fondly. When I spent a summer at Wings’ I rode to chirch with her. A delightful lady.
Your Mom, affectionately known as “Aunt Rose,” will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. We mourn your loss with you, but also rejoice knowing that she is at peace in Heaven now.
