Rose M. Quido Costanzo, 96, of Hamden, passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of 74 years to the late Frank Costanzo who passed away this past February. Rose was born in New Haven on May 23, 1926, daughter of the late Christopher and Frances Russo Quido.  She is survived by her three sons, Charles, Christopher and Thomas Costanzo all of Hamden and her daughter Mary Frances Costanzo Bernabucci of Northford and her husband Joseph.  Rose is also survived by her four grandchildren, Frank and his wife Nancy Costanzo, Anthony and his wife Kelliann Costanzo, Joey and Maria Rose Bernabucci and five great-grandchildren, Isabella Rose, Christian, Emily, Olivia Rose and Sophia Costanzo.  Rose is also survived by her sister Josephine Consolatore and her husband Liberato. Predeceased by brother Frank Quido and five sisters, Rae Hartman, Mary Villano, Florence Anastasio, Marge Criscuolo and Ann Sprague. Rose cherished her entire family.  She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved having family and friends visit, especially to celebrate special occasions. Rose lit up a room with her beautiful smile and her warm and caring ways.  She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing many delicious dinners, cookies, cakes and pies for her family.  She was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed many trips to the casino with her family.  She was truly loved by everyone who knew her. Rose will be sadly missed by all and remain in our hearts forever. Visiting hours will be Friday, July 22nd from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home Saturday morning July 23rd at 10:30 a.m.  A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Divine Mercy Parish at St. Rita Church, 1620 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
