Rose M. Madonna Ryan, 89, of North Haven, passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family and beloved cats. She was the beloved wife of the late George J. Ryan. Rose was born in New Haven on July 6, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Andrea and Madalena Dichiaro Madonna. Mother of Tom (Maria) Ryan, Ed (Pam Greco) Ryan, Mike (Jeryl) Ryan and the late Sharon Ryan. Also survived by eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter. Predeceased by her granddaughter Sylvia and five brothers. Rose worked as a volunteer at Gaylord Hospital for many years and loved and cared for her family, friends, cats and various critters.
The visiting hours will be Monday, May 6th from 4 to 7 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Catholic parlor service will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday, May 7th at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
