Roseann T. Migliaro DeCaprio of Hamden rejoined her parents on December 6, 2021. Born on October 15, 1954, to late Gerald and Alice Darin Migliaro, Sr., Roseann leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Anthony J. DeCaprio Jr. (“Chicky”), and her children Anthony J. DeCaprio III (Lisa), Melissa Buontempo (Vincenzo), Joseph DeCaprio (Claudia) and Michael DeCaprio (Caryn Galpin). Roseann also leaves behind seven grandchildren whom she adored and who adored her; Anthony J. DeCaprio IV, Vincenzo Buontempo, Gianna M. DeCaprio, Luciano Buontempo, Gaetano Buontempo, Donato Buontempo and Joseph P. DeCaprio Jr. She is also survived by her brother Gerald Migliaro, Jr. (Mary), adoring sister Denise (Skip) Sagar, loving in-laws Sheryl Hershonik (Stanley), Louis DeCaprio (Todd) and Ava Rolli (Monte), her aunt Lesley Testa whom she shared a special relationship with and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Roseann graduated from Hamden High School with the class of ’73 and worked as an Office Administrator for many years at Tomtec and in the family business, Treadwell Electric, both of Hamden. Being a part of such a large family, Roseann loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her family and friends for parties and dinners she hosted or quiet visits and phone chats. There was no doubt that her grandchildren meant the world to her and no matter what was happening, Roseann always found time to listen to their stories, help them with projects and crafts, bake with them and anything else she could do to make them feel special and loved. Roseann and her husband had a special bond. Especially when they shared memories at the table, the love they had for each could be felt in their laughter, smiles and looks to each other. She will forever be his “Rosey” and he her Chicky.  Roseann shared a special bond with her sister Denise and enjoyed their visits together and long talks on the phone. We will all miss her “just because” phone calls, her willingness to help with anything and just being there, always.

The visiting hours will be Friday, Dec. 10th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
